AFCL END OF SEASON FESTIVAL

Saturday 4th June 2016 we ran our first mini soccer festival with boys and girls taking part and which was an excellent day. Twenty- seven teams entered the tournament, meaning that the teams had to be randomly allocated to two pools per age group and each team played at least four matches in total.

The winner from each pool then went on to battle it out for the title with the runners up from each pool entering a semi final place playoff. It was a fantastic day with some very impressive football being played. All finalists demonstrated outstanding teamwork to achieve their success.

U10s - Crown Stars FC

The competition and ethos was good and we are looking to run this kind of tournament on a yearly basis. Lastly, well done to all who competed.
