1. Introduction

AFC Lewisham Club Terms and Conditions

Welcome to AFC Lewisham. We are dedicated to nurturing young talent and providing an engaging and competitive environment for children to enhance their football skills. By enrolling your child in our football team, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

*2. Membership / Registration Fee and Payment Terms*

2.1 The membership fee for the 2024-2025 Season at AFC Lewisham.
2.2 Payment of the membership fee is due in full upon registration of your child.
2.3 An option to pay the subscription fee in instalments may be provided, with all payments to be completed according to the instalment schedule established at the time of registration.
2.4 Members agree subs will be a duration of 11 months starting from September

*3. No Refund Policy*

3.1 Membership fees paid to AFC Lewisham  are non-refundable. Membership signifies a commitment for the entire season, and the club allocates its resources based on this commitment.
3.2 If a member chooses to depart AFC Lewisham before the conclusion of the season, the full membership fee remains due, and any remaining instalment payments must be fulfilled.

*4. Liability for Remaining Instalments*

4.1 Members who opt for an instalment payment plan are responsible for all remaining instalments

*5. Subscription Commitment*

5.1 Subscription at AFC Lewisham covers the full season as outlined in the club's official schedule.
5.2 Early departure from the club by a member does not negate the responsibility to pay the full membership fee or any pending instalment amounts.

*6. Cancellation by the Club*

6.1 AFC Lewisham retains the right to cancel a membership at any time due to breaches of the club's code of conduct or failure to keep up with payment of fees.

*7. Governing Law*

7.1 These terms and conditions are governed by UK law, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.

*8. Acceptance of Terms*

8.1 The completion of the registration process and the signing of this document indicate that you, as a parent or guardian, have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions for membership at AFC Lewisham. 

*9. Changes to Terms and Conditions*

9.1 AFC Lewisham reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Members will be notified of any changes in writing.

*10. Acknowledgement*

I, hereby acknowledge that I have read and agree to the terms and conditions of t&c’s at AFC Lewisham.

*11. Data Protection and Privacy*

11.1 AFC Lewisham complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and any applicable UK data protection laws. Personal data provided during registration will be used for the purposes of club administration, communication, and as required by law.
 
  11.2 Members have the right to access any personal data held about them by the club and to request correction of any inaccuracies in that data.

*12. Health and Safety*

12.1 AFC Lewisham is committed to providing a safe environment for all members. All players must adhere to the club's health and safety policies and any instructions from coaches or club officials.
12.2 Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that their child arrives at training and matches in good health and notifies the club of any medical conditions or allergies that the coaching staff should be aware of.

*13. Code of Conduct*

13.1 All coaches, members, parents, and guardians must comply with the club's code of conduct. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of membership.
13.2 The club expects all members to demonstrate sportsmanship, respect for others, and to contribute to a positive team environment.

*14. Dispute Resolution*

14.1 In the event of a dispute arising from these terms and conditions or related to club membership, the parties agree to seek resolution through the club's internal dispute resolution process before resorting to legal action.

*15. Complaints Procedure*

15.1 AFC Lewisham has a formal complaints procedure in place. Any complaints should be submitted in writing to the club management who will respond in accordance with the procedure.

*16. Equality and Diversity*

16.1 AFC Lewisham is committed to promoting equality and diversity and expects all members to treat others with respect regardless of age, race, gender, disability, sexual orientation, religion, or belief.
 
*17. Photographs and Media*

17.1 AFC Lewisham may take photographs or recordings of training sessions and matches. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you consent to the club using such images for promotional, training, and/or educational purposes.

*18. Changes to Training and Match Schedules*

18.1 AFC Lewisham reserves the right to make changes to training and match schedules. Members will be notified of any changes as far in advance as possible.

*19. Governing Bodies*

19.1 AFC Lewisham is affiliated with the relevant football associations and abides by their rules and regulations.
